G.I.F.T – Growing in Faith Together

  • G.I.F.T. is St. Christopher’s Religious Education Program for children and youth attending public schools.
    • Children in grades 1-6 participate in G.I.F.T.
      • Wednesdays during the school year from 7:00pm-8:10pm
    • Youth in 7th and 8th grade participate in Jr. High Youth Ministry
      • Select Sundays during the school year from 7:00pm-8:30pm
    • Youth in 9th-12th grade participate in small community faith sharing groups
      • Select Sunday evenings from 7:00pm-8:30pm
  • Sacramental Preparation
    • Children in second grade prepare for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
      • Children in the G.I.F.T. program prepare during their Wednesday night sessions.
      • Children in St. Christopher School prepare during their in school religion classes.
      • A parent/child day preceding each Sacrament includes all the children of the parish (G.I.F.T. and St. Christopher School).
    • Youth who are in their sophomore year or older prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
      • Sessions for all youth (attending both Catholic and Public High Schools) take place on select Sunday evening throughout the school year.
