“Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young but be an example for the believers in your speech, your conduct, your love, faith, and purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12
Youth Ministry at a Glance
St. Christopher Youth Ministry invites young people in grades 6-12 to be actively involved in the life of the parish, especially in the areas of liturgy, faith formation, service and community building. Youth Ministry offers the chance to grow in love for Christ and share Christ’s service to others. WHAT DOES “ALOHA” MEAN ANYWAY?
In searching the meaning of the Hawaiian word “aloha”, you will find that it is a term used both when greeting someone and also saying goodbye. It actually holds a much deeper, spiritual significance of love, peace, compassion, and mercy. So for our Class of 2020, we found this term to be very fitting for this class at this very celebration as we come together to join and celebrate, as well as wish them all love, peace, compassion, and mercy on the path laid out before them.
